REIMBURSEMENT CRITERIA

General

Management Committee members are automatically eligible for reimbursement (MC Substitutes only in attending instead of the regular MC representative). Working group members – in addition to meeting the conditions, prepared by their WG – must complete the online Google form with their info on research interests, a short statement etc. to be eligible for reimbursement.

WG1

In preparation of the WG-meeting in August, we would like you to complete the survey on http://www.instant.ly/s/5efgn.The results of the survey are important for the work on the dictionary portal. We hope that all of you will complete it, even if you do not intend to attend the August meeting. Please note that those WG1 members who will join us in August will only be reimbursed if they complete the survey by 22 May 2015.

Members of the other WG’s are welcome to complete the survey too.

WG2

To be reimbursed, WG2 members will have to actively participate in the preparations for and discussions during the meeting and the hands-on session, including the collection and evaluation of training materials, dictionary  encoding samples and a taxonomy of data enrichment methods. The deadline for the delivery of the preparatory materials will be July 30, 2015. The details of the procedure and goals will be discussed internally within the working group over the next months.

WG3

One of the conditions was completing the questionnaire on Automatic Knowledge Acquisition for Lexicography. The other condition is connected to Call for papers, related to the WG3 meeting in August.

WG4

To be reimbursed, WG4 members will have to actively participate in the preparations for and discussions during the meeting, including the collection and evaluation of lexical resources. The deadline for the delivery of the preparatory materials will be 30th July 2015. The details of the procedure and goals will be discussed internally within the working group over the next months. The overall topic of the WG4-meeting will be The ENeL dictionary portal: Towards European identity by means of lexical and lexicographical knowledge bases. Please make sure that you have fixed the organisational issues in advance (filled in the online form; task group template).

Accommodation

For accommodation options, see https://elex.link/elex2015/accommodation/. Please note that the transport from/to the accommodation places outside the castle is currently not included for COST meetings (contrary to eLex offer).

Last info (12 May 2015): 6 en-suite rooms and 36 standard room (shared bathroom) in the castle are available for Thursday, 13 August, and Friday, 14 August.

Transport

The closest train station is in Polegate and there are direct trains from the Gatwick airport. Local transport will be provided between the train station and the castle, both for COST meetings and the eLex conference (for those arriving earlier).
